Grace Brethren
Christian School was originally founded in 1986. In the summer
of 2009,
the school formally changed its name to Grace Christian Academy of
Maryland. Since December, 2002, the school has been fully
accredited by the
Association of Christian Schools
International (ACSI) and
Middle States Association of Colleges and
Schools. Accreditation
is based on meeting specific standards of educational practices:
curriculum, faculty qualifications, school organization, media
center and facilities.
Grace Christian Academy of Maryland is also
approved by the Maryland State Department
of Education, and is listed in the Directory of Nonpublic
Schools Approved by the Maryland State Board of Education as the
only approved Christian/private school with grades preschool
through 12th grade in Charles County.
It is the goal of Grace Christian Academy
of Maryland to provide an education of scholastic excellence and
teach students that God is the source of all truth. Grace
Christian Academy of Maryland strives to develop a Christian
lifestyle and a Christian worldview.
